FUEL ECONOMY RUN, Friday, 10:00am
Meet at Land-O-Nod Victorian Inn just west of Pine Mountain.
10:00 a.m. to Noon departure. Run will last approximately 2 hours and cover roughly 100 miles. Corvettes will be separated into twelve classes, automatic and manual transmission with the following engines: Note the price of gas!
  • 6 cyl, 265, and 283 carb engines
  • 327, and 350 carb engines
  • 283 and 327 fuel injection
  • 350 fuel injection
  • All big blocks
  • Custom and modified

All cars will be filled by Fuel Economy Run personnel, and must take at least 5 gallons of fuel at departure. Gas tanks will then be sealed. The run will be timed with at least one check point. Drivers will have a maximum of three hours to complete the approximately 100 mile run. Late cars will be disqualified. Tanks will be refilled by Fuel Economy Run personnel, and the amount of fuel noted along with the elapsed time.
